Out of The Wind

I worked to make sure to get the shape of the path because of the unusual shape.  If the path shape was wrong there would be no way to get the painting right.

I continued to insure the shape of the path worked with the rest of the composition. At the same time I continued to work adjustments between the values.  I worked to get the subtle differences well established.

The longer I worked the shadowed areas, the better the ending was going to be.  The frosting always looks better when the cake is fully baked.  The challenge for me is having the patience to wait to apply the finishing touches.
