This painting is painted from a spot I paint at a lot. It has this amazing view and feeling. It never gets old. As much as it is the same it is different every time I paint it. I could paint this every day and not get tired of it. There are so many interesting things to focus on in this one vista. It is always revealing. first move is to get better at my oil painting. I also want to improve on using painting knives. I am not going to stop painting in gouache or pastel. Everyday I am going to paint in oil until I get to 100 paintings. Here we go! #1 16x20 oil on paper
