This pastel painting is done on Sennelier pastel card with soft pastels. The painting measures 11"x13". A classic view of this artistic beach community of yesterday. Now that it is a state park some of the homes in the distance are abandoned and condemed.

Laguna Rocks II

This pastel painting is done with dry pastels over a pastel card support. The dimensions of the painting are 12"x24". These rocks like so much in Laguna have become cliche. But I painted them just like everyone else because they are beautiful. I loved the shadows created on their face from the sun which was directly overhead.

Sedona

This pastel painting is done on pastel card with soft pastels and measures 10"x14". The colors of the red rocks were muted by the cloud cover and fog.

Aspen

This pastel painting is done on velour paper and measures 14"x11". The point where the leaves of the trees meet the sky and the light bark of the aspen contrasted against the dark foliage were my main interest in doing this painting. SOLD in private collection
